In addition Canterbury puts on a fabulous 4th of July fireworks show and has live music over the 4th holiday as well. This usually is a 2-3 day event, over at 5pm Saturday, so to find the good things before picked over, get there early! We also very much enjoy going to Canterbury for the horse races on Thursdays and Saturdays that go until May. Parking is free in the lot, I advise getting as close to entrance as possible. If you love Vintage, Antiques, and unique items this is a must go to! You can find great cabin & lake house decor, jewelry, vases, photo props, art, clothing, misc cool vintage signs, lighting, furniture made from old vintage cars, it is so much fun! They also have great bloody marys, have soft drinks, and some food.
